Our camps are designed to pique a child's natural curiosity and sense of adventure. Children from across the area quickly form close friendships as they work, learn and play collaboratively.
Children love the open space for creativity and enjoyment at Summers-Knoll camps. Parents love our camps because they know their children have enriching, well-supervised and engaging experiences in a friendly and personal camp environment. Summers-Knoll campers return year after year as the camps become a highlight of their summer experience.
Summer Camp is a whirlwind of activity at Summers-Knoll. In our Action camps, math, science, language arts and creative arts all come to life, with two levels for different ages. In our Escape camps, children hit the road for daily adventures, taking in the sights and sounds of our opportunity-rich region. Camps with unique themes and experiences are offered each week throughout the summer, and children can attend a single week, or select a variety of camps to build on and broaden their experience.
Winter Blast Camp is always an adventure at Summers-Knoll and takes advantage of the winter wonderland that is Michigan. Picking up the theme of winter, campers explore science, math, ecology, literature and culture in one week of exciting activities. The manageable size of this camp means your child will quickly make friends and dive right in to the action.
Our Spring Fever Camp is a mini-vacation in our own Ann Arbor. Spring Fever engages children from the greater community with active, hands-on experiences around a specific theme and utilizes community treasures like County Farm Park (Summers-Knoll's "backyard") for outside fun.
Morning and After Care
Morning care is available from 7:30 am, and after care is available until 6 pm. These options carry an additional charge. Children play outside, read, play board games and do art activities. Sometimes we cook, garden, or put on a puppet show. Snack is provided.
