financial aid
The diversity of our school popluation is important to us and to the healthy social development of all our children. Summers-Knoll currently supports 35% of our families with some level of financial aid. Maintaining this level of support means that, while we have some capacity each year to support new families, financial aid funds are very limited. Please apply early.
Financial aid is available on basis of need. Our financial aid applications are processed by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), to our specifications. NAIS is a national membership organization which represents more than 1,300 independent schools and associations in the United States.
The financial aid application can be submitted directly online at www.nais.org, or the application form can be printed out from the website and submitted by mail. To submit a financial aid application online at www.nais.org:
- Click on “Go to SSS (School and Student Service for Financial Aid)”.
- Click on “Complete PFS [Parent Financial Statement] online”.
- Click on “start a new PFS”. Summers-Knoll’s SSS code is 1375.
Once your financial aid application is submitted, the NAIS will respond to us within 10-14 days with a recommendation. We will contact you regarding any aid award amount. Financial aid is awarded on a rolling basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
