Flight (Ages 8-12)

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy says that anyone can learn to fly. You just have to throw yourself at the ground and miss. We may not master that particular skill, but we will learn how flight really works, and use the science behind it to make our own flying inventions.  Have a paper airplane Air Show, make a hot air balloon and a helium-driven gondola… Make your own Frisbees and boomerangs. In the afternoon we’ll play Frisbee golf, Ultimate Frisbee, and much more.
