At Summers-Knoll we keep our class sizes small (no greater than 14 students) so we can truly get to know each child – both as learners and as people. Our teachers pride themselves on individualizing instruction, so that each child is met where they are and supported and challenged. This means that children who excel in one area or another, have the opportunity to move forward in the curriculum, as appropriate. It also means that if a child is having difficulty, the teacher will be able to catch this early and provide support as necessary. In addition to individualized academic attention, we get to know our students personally and, thus, many families and students think of SK as their second family.
